stack of cds slid over across my desk just now...
benefit albums for various groups dissenting and protesting pResident dumbass.
have spent more this year donating to various causes opposing the regime in the white hoose than on music cds. that has to be a first in my lifetime.
know why he's gonna lose bigtime, too.
the polls are outdated foolish yardsticks from the old era, before 9/11, before the net.
the incumbent has outraged more than half his own party base, and refuses to see it coming back to get him.
the challenger is a relief sketch, a detailed opposite of the incumbent in many ways. articulate where the former is mumblesome, lethargic where the former is quick and dumb, and able to change his mind and admit mistakes, where the indumbent is steadfast and arrogant, cannot admit a blunder, and won't take back misspent words or show regret.
who's the better human here? the one who faces intolerance and ignorance and fear and remains openminded and truthful.
even though he doesn't excite me near as much as Misters Kucinich or Dean, Kerry is worlds more qualified for the job of President than Curious George monkeyboy cokehead could ever hope to have been.
